1 Drive from NJP / IXB / Siliguri to Gangtok (5,413 ft)

Upon your arrival at NJP Railway Station, Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Siliguri, you’ll be warmly received by our company representative. From there, begin your journey to Gangtok, a scenic drive of approximately 121 km that takes about 4 to 5 hours. On reaching Gangtok, check into your hotel and freshen up. Later, enjoy a leisurely evening walk along MG Marg and explore the nearby local market. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

2 Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, set out for a comprehensive local sightseeing tour of Gangtok. This includes visits to Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, the Flower Exhibition Centre, the iconic Ropeway/Cable Car, Enchey Monastery, Bakthang Waterfalls, the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, the Handicraft Centre, and the Chorten Stupa. After your sightseeing, return to the hotel to relax and refresh. In the evening, enjoy another stroll through MG Marg and soak in the local vibe. Overnight stay at your hotel in Gangtok.

3 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir

Today after breakfast, head out for an excursion to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake, a high-altitude glacial lake in East Sikkim. From there, continue to New Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh. After completing the tour, return to your hotel in Gangtok. The evening is free for you to relax or revisit MG Marg for some personal exploration. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

4 Drive from Gangtok to Darjeeling (6,700 ft)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Darjeeling, a picturesque hill town located approximately 98 km away, a journey that takes about 4 to 5 hours. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and unwind. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk around Mall Road and Chowrasta. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

5 Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Start your day early at 4:00 AM with a drive to Tiger Hill, an iconic viewpoint historically used during World War II, now famous for its stunning sunrise over Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop, a spiral railway offering panoramic views of Darjeeling town and tea gardens.

Return to your hotel for breakfast before exploring the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to red pandas and snow leopards, followed by the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) Museum. Visit the Bengal Natural History Museum, and the serene Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda with its scenic hilltop views.

Continue to Tenzing Rock and enjoy the Rangeet Valley Tea Garden viewpoint, then take a scenic ride on the Ropeway/Cable Car. Stop at the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre to see traditional handicrafts.

Return to your hotel to freshen up and spend the evening at Mall Road and Chowrasta, enjoying the lively atmosphere, shopping, and local delicacies. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

6 Drive to NJP / IXB / Siliguri

After breakfast, check out and begin your drive back to NJP, Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Siliguri (approx. 71 km, 2-3 hours) for your onward journey by train or flight, carrying home beautiful memories from the hills.
