Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, your Tour Manager will meet you and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or the sightseeing spot, as per the itinerary.

Begin your day early with a drive to Tiger Hill, one of Darjeeling’s most iconic viewpoints, to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the majestic Kanchenjunga ranges. The sight of the golden sun casting its glow on the snow-capped peaks of Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest is truly unforgettable and perfect for photography enthusiasts.

On the way back, stop at the Batasia Loop, a unique spiral railway track surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, offering panoramic views of Darjeeling town, tea plantations, and the surrounding hills. Continue your sightseeing with a visit to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), where you can learn about the rich history of Himalayan expeditions, followed by the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to rare Himalayan wildlife such as red pandas and snow leopards. Explore the Himalayan Tibetology Museum, a treasure trove of ancient Buddhist artifacts, manuscripts, and cultural relics, and then stop at Tenzing Rock, a landmark honoring Tenzing Norgay, offering great photo opportunities and hill views.

Today we proceed to Gangtok, a charming hill city nestled amidst the lush Himalayan ranges. The route offers breathtaking views of verdant valleys, terraced hills, and tea gardens, with crisp mountain air and serene landscapes creating a tranquil and refreshing environment. The journey itself is a visual treat, passing through picturesque villages, streams, and panoramic viewpoints that perfectly capture the natural beauty of Sikkim.

En-route, we head to Namchi to visit the Chardham Temple, also known as Siddheshwar Dham, home to one of the tallest statues of Lord Shiva. Nearby, the Samdruptse Monastery features the impressive 135-foot statue of Guru Padmasambhava, attracting devotees and tourists alike. The day offers the chance to immerse in the local culture, and in the evening, we enjoy a vibrant folk dance performance, showcasing Sikkimese traditions and customs.

For guests interested in exploring further, there are optional add-on visits available at extra charges, including Namchi town, Samdruptse Monastery, and Timi Tea Garden, where visitors can enjoy scenic walks and tea tasting experiences.

Today we explore Gangtok city, we visit Ranka Monastery, Banjhakri waterfall, we enjoy a Rope Way Ride which gives us a splendid view of Gangtok city, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and Dordul Chorten Stupa. Later we visit the Flower Exhibition Centre / Plant Conservatory, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok and Tashi View Point to capture amazing views of Himalayan ranges.

Today we visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir – a holy shrine honouring Indian army soldier, folk hero and saint Baba Harbhajan Singh. Later we visit Tsomgo Lake – a high altitude scenic lake considered to be sacred by the Sikkimese. In the evening, we have some free time to explore the nightlife and casinos of Gangtok on our own.

After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and begin our scenic drive from Gangtok to Kalimpong, a charming hill town known for its colonial heritage, monasteries, and panoramic views of the Teesta River and surrounding hills. The route is dotted with lush mountain landscapes, terraced fields, and winding roads, offering a visual treat at every turn.

En-route, we stop at the Teesta River for a thrilling adventure of white water rafting, where you can experience the excitement of gliding through rapids amidst stunning natural surroundings. The river’s crystal-clear waters, flanked by dense forests and towering hills, make this an unforgettable and adrenaline-pumping experience.

It’s time to say goodbye  As your memorable journey comes to an end, we hope you carry back beautiful memories of the scenic landscapes, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality of Sikkim, Darjeeling, and North Bengal.
